I came to Dr. Escobar Almeida when my psychiatrist up and quit with no warning. I was able to get in to her quickly. I am an RN and therapist and was very impressed with her knowledge of not only prescription medications but also the supplements that would be best for me. She took her time with me, asked very appropriate questions and listened well. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a psychiatrist.

I just had my initial appointment with Dr. Escobar. I was incredibly impressed with the attention and time she gave me; a stark contrast to what we’ve come to expect from psychiatrists. While this was a tele-health visit, I still felt Dr. Escobar was fully present and attentive as though we were in the same room together.
I especially appreciated how Dr. Escobar did not just throw a prescription medication at me, so to speak, to treat my symptoms perhaps, but not fully help. The duality in her approach of combining functional medicine with prescription medicine, along with deep questioning and compassionate care, has me feeling heard and hopeful.

Great experience, start to finish.
The office staff were friendly and helpful. They message me about intake paperwork and setting up my patient portal and talked through my questions. The person who answered them also offered to see if there were any more recent appointments available.
The video platform was easy to use, and I got timely reminder texts before the appointment.
This doctor was incredible. Her bedside manner was friendly and respectful. She was knowledgeable and collaborative and didn't hurry through the appointment.
She had reviewed my paperwork prior to our appointment and asked thoughtful follow-up questions. She explained her opinions and reasoning and answered all my questions.
She also didn't punt me back to the front office for practical questions. She talked through possibilities for rx coverage and pre-auth under my specific insurance plan. She also scheduled my next appointment instead of telling me to do so through the online portal.
Highly recommend.
