Dr. Puleo, a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, earned her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York. Her goal in joining the optometric world was simple: she wanted to enjoy a profession where she could help people. As an optometrist at Bergen Optometry, she gets a chance to do precisely that! Dr. Puleo particularly enjoys studying and treating dry eye and ocular diseases. She is also very passionate about children and especially enjoys pediatric patients.
In her free time, Dr. Puleo enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

I was in need of urgent care due to contacts irritation. Reservation through ZocDoc automatically went through office system, so there was no error issue during appointment setup. Checkup was also made right on time, and everyone was very friendly, and im getting much better after only a day!

The experience was amazing. The staff was super nice and quick. They listened to me and explained everything to me perfectly. The doctor was very nice and showed that she cared! I also appreciated Edna who sat with me to pick out my frames as this is not something that has been done at prior offices. I can definitely say I’ll feel comfortable with this pair. Can’t wait to get my new glasses.

Great experience! I told the Dr that I was interested in trying daily contacts and she gave me free samples to try out before committing! I also expressed that I was content with my current prescription and just wanted it renewed, so we had a speedy appointment and I went on my way. Very easy office to get to, since the entrance is right off the street. Will gladly return for my annual eye exam.

I was seen for my appointment and office staff was nice. However, seeing over 7-8 eye doctors in my life; i would not recommend as my visit was inconclusive in many ways.

Bergen Optometry is one of the best eye clinics out there. I had been taken care very well by the lab technician, retail agent, and the optometrist. They explained me very well about my situation and recommended for each and every possible thing that I’ve asked. They explained everything they were doing during the procedure. And they took pictures of my eyes and showed me, which was cool.
When I was done, they didn't pressure me into buying glasses right then. Instead, they printed out my prescription and invited me back at my convenience.
