About Kate Ferrarello
Physician Assistant Kate Ferrarello graduated magna cum laude from Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, then earned her Master of Medical Science with Distinction from Arcadia University, graduating with top honors. She is board certified and a member of Pi Alpha, the national honor society for Physician Assistants, as well as Phi Beta Kappa, America’s longest-standing national academic honor society.
Kate is board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Kate joined our team in 2013 after beginning her career in family practice. She offers a wide range of medical dermatology services, including advanced therapies for acne, psoriasis, and eczema, with a special interest in the prevention and management of skin cancer. Kate is excited to offer Photodynamic Therapy to our patients, a highly effective, in-office treatment for precancerous, sun-damaged skin.
In the office, Kate always has a smile ready and believes everyone deserves to be treated like family. She prides herself on providing quality care and establishing a trusted rapport with her patients. Kate sees patients aged 12 and up.
Born and raised in Florida, Kate now lives in Wyomissing with her husband and their two boys.

The office was very easy to find, everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Ferrarello was very kind, upbeat, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns fully before speaking.
