About Kate Matekovic

Physician Assistant Kate Matekovic attended Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, graduating in May 2015. She furthered her education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtaining a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in July 2019. Kate is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds licenses in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Since graduating in 2019, Kate has been dedicated to the field of dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants (PDPA). Committed to providing high-quality patient care, she always puts the patient’s needs first. Kate treats patients of all ages and enjoys all aspects of medical dermatology, including educating patients on the importance of sun protection and skin care. Kate lives in Philadelphia. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, shopping, traveling, reading, watching Penn State football, spending time at the beach (with adequate sun protection and sunscreen, of course), and being with her family, friends, and her goldendoodle, Barkley.
