About Dr. Katherine Ferraro

Katie Ferraro, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot care, wound care, and sports medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology & Microbiology from the University of Central Florida and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. Dr. Ferraro completed a three-year surgical residency at the VA New Jersey Health Care System, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. With a background in neuroscience research and a personal passion for running, Dr. Ferraro brings both scientific insight and empathy to her patient care. She is known for her ability to clearly explain diagnoses and treatment options, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health. Dr. Ferraro is proud to return to the Orlando area and looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients while making a positive impact in the community.
