She was great and she handled my daughter amazingly well, as my daughter tends to run away from all healthcare professionals.

Dr. Smith is the hands down the best optometrist I have ever visited! I’m far sighted with a lazy eye, so it has been next to impossible to get an eyeglass prescription that works for both distance and reading and doesn’t give me a headache. Dr. Smith spent so much time perfecting my prescription and even walked out to the lobby with me to adjust the lenses for long distances. I’m 22 and this is the first pair of glasses I’ve ever had that I don’t have to constantly take on and off. Carolin was my optician and she also was super helpful and patient while I picked out the perfect frames. I cannot express enough how great my experience was, thank you Dr. Smith!!

Appreciated the redundancy of reminder notifications and push-texts between zocodc and the actual office. Though thought the text could have added info about parking, seeing as on Google maps if you don't add the suite number it will guide you to satilite health behind heb. Dr. Smith was efficient and kind- explained what she was doing as we went :) Office was bright and clean; exam room comfortable and simple. All tech's and assistants a good blend of educated scientifically and retail/fashion savvy. Didn't feel rushed or upsold to while trying in glasses for the first time ever. small kids selection. No comment yet on follow-up and glasses pickup

Dr. Smith was fantastic. I wanted contacts, I have a pretty bad astigmatism. She tried everything she could to get me in a set of contacts that wasn't incredibly out of my budget. She was also very patient with all the stupid jokes I made.

I scheduled my annual comprehensive eye exam with Dr. Kathryn Smith. After verifying my insurance benefits they called me to give me their estimate of what my insurance will pay which was greatly appreciated! Note: I did request for them to contact me prior to my appointment about what my vision insurance was estimated to cover, I don't know if that is something they usually do. At my appointment, I was first greeted by Erica at the front desk who went over the insurance estimates again, explained some options for the appointment, and helped me through my paperwork. Christine brought me back to do the initial test and photos. She went over the options of either having my eyes dilated with drops or doing retinal photography for a fee. Erica went over this with me at check in and I initially decided to have my eyes dilated but after thinking about how annoying having my eyes dilated was (especially on a bright day which it was the day of my appointment) I chose the retinal photography instead. Let me tell you, it was well worth the fee to just take the retinal photos and be done with it! NO dilation drops, NO additional waiting for the eyes to dilate, NO sunglasses everywhere for the next few hours, NO interference with the rest of my day! Trust me, just go with the photos. After Christine finished the initial tests, photos, and questions Dr. Smith came in for the exam. She was phenomenal! She answered all of my questions, she was honest, and her eye exam was exceptionally thorough. My favorite part of the exam was when she put lenses of different strengths into some test glasses with four lenses (two lenses on top and two lenses on bottom so it was like two separate pairs of glasses) and brought me into the reception area to look out the window and around the room to determine which strength was more comfortable for me. I'd never done this before so I thought it was pretty neat. I wear contacts and since my prescription had changed since my last exam she provided me with trial contacts to wear for a week. Erica called me the next week to ask how the prescription was. The prescription was a little strong, which Dr. Smith expected it might be. They provided me with another week of trial contacts of a slightly lower strength. I really appreciated this; it can be hard for a patient to tell in the exam room what really works best. I was able to drive, work, read, exercise, and just live in the trial contacts and find the perfect prescription! My appointment was during lunch hours and there are a few popular restaurants in the same shopping center so finding parking took me a few minutes. I would suggest arriving about 15 minutes early to make sure you can find parking if your appointment is during lunch hours. The office location in is convenient. The office is clean, organized, and has nice, new equipment. Every member of the staff that I interacted with was professional, thorough, and friendly. I definitely recommend Envision Eye Center and Dr. Smith!

Doctor Smith and her staff were kind, attentive, and helpful. While I was only being seen for a routine, annual examination, I would still recommend them to anyone seeking an optometrist.

I had a lot of questions and she answered all of them thoroughly. I never felt rushed or pressured to move along. I really appreciate that she took the time to explain and provide examples as well as strong recommendations that puts me at ease about the decisions I will be making for my eye health.
Kathryn was great to work with. I was in and out in less than an hour I have had lots of eye irritation since moving and she was able to give me a lot of great tips on how to adjust to the allergies here! One thing that I don't like about this location (and this is out of their hands) is parking can be such a pain if your appointment is later in the day. Just plan on leaving early to give yourself enough time to find parking!

Dr. Smith is friendly, caring, and smart! She took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. I highly recommend her!

Great visit. Dr. Smith really knows her stuff. Felt like they really wanted to help and they did! Frank was awesome as well. I've never gotten that much attention when picking out glasses - ever!

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Smith. She's down to earth, personable, and I felt like I've known her a lifetime...this was my first visit. The staff are very attentive, take really good care of you and really live up to all the great reviews, which were my deciding factor in choosing an eye care professional.

It was great! Kathryn Smith was very helpful in answering my questions and concerns. Pricing specifics could be explicitly stated ahead of time (such as contact fitting, dilation costs, etc.) but for the general person, many of those may not apply.

My first experience with Dr. Smith and her staff due to a change in my insurance plan. I completed all my documents before arriving so check-in went smoothly. Front desk staff were great! The technician was great! The doctor was great! The optician was great! The varying frame selections were great! Thank you for a GREAT visit!

Professional, caring, knowledgeable.

Very efficient contact lens exam! No complaints at all. They even gave me a new pair of contacts to wear after dilation drops and a sample of a slightly stronger prescription to try out to see if I prefer them.
Verified patient
Dr. Smith really took her time to figure out why my contacts weren't fitting right and went out of her way to find the exact right pair. The gentleman who helped me with my glasses (fit/style) was knowledgeable and made sure that I found exactly what I needed.
I have a difficult prescription. Dr. Smith was kind and took a few extra minutes to talk with me about my needs. I will be back to see her!

She is very nice
Having had glasses for 35 years, I was quite pleased with the visit and exam. The front desk was friendly and professional, and Dr Smith was very friendly, professional and informative. I didn't feel like I was at the dentist's for a change.
Really liked how she took me out into the lobby to read a road sign in the prescription we found. That helped ensure that I would be able to drive well with farsighted lenses.
Amazing healthcare comes from not just providing immediate help to a patient's needs. Amazing healthcare also includes resourceful, sustainable information for patients. Dr. Smith is a true scientist when it comes to your vision. She ensured I got the quality prescription I needed and went as far as double-checking her own work, while educating me on steps I need to care for my own vision. And her bedside manner is just too awesome. She's the kind of doctor you want to go to happy hour with.
