I would not go back to the doctor due to the wait time. My appointment was at 11am and I was not first called in by 11:45am.
Dr. Park and the entire staff was awesome. My 9 year old was well taken care of during the wait and appointment,
Very kind and helpful. Explained all procedures and symptoms in detail. Pleasant to speak to and easy appointment!

If you guys are going to take my appointment later than I signed up for, I should have my parking validated.
Dr. Park and her team were all very kind, prompt, and professional during my first visit. Highly recommend.

Third time I had to wait over an hour for my appointment.

I went there for my 3 year old boy but she said she is not specialized for kids after she already saw him and wanted us to come back to see another doctor I think they should have checked their patients’ age before they see them

This experience was highly disappointing. I checked in 10 minutes early and waited 45 minutes to only be told that they do not accept my insurance. I had to log into my insurance on my phone and show them coverage was in my plan and only then did they make additional calls to re-confirm that my insurance was not accepted. I wasted 2 hours of my morning, moved around work meetings only to be told to try Lenscrafters as they might be a better option.
Dr Park is very caring, friendly and professional.

Dr. Park was super friendly and easy to chat with — she answered my questions as I asked during the exam. It was my first exam in over a decade and I really appreciated Dr. Park’s efficiency and kindness.
I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and I had no additional waiting time. I had already made an appointment with another ophthalmologist for surgery and that was no problem for Dr. Park and agreed that I should wait for a new prescription for glasses. My main purpose was to have a remedy for my teary eyes. I was relieved to find out it was not glaucoma but the dry eye syndrome. I was given clear instructions how to reduce the severity of the the dry eye problem.

the phone rang off the hook- someone called out sick and they were very short staffed. once seen the staff was nice - the office and exam rooms where very tired. Dr. Park was very nice and helpful.
Verified patient
Dr. Park was very thorough and took the time to listen to me (which is hard to come by with most doctors) and communicate. In addition, she was very kind and throughout.

The office is easy to find within the building. The office interior is pretty outdated, could definitely use a facelift there! However, the staff was nice, and Dr. Park in particular was extremely competent and warm - Above and beyond. She explained everything she was doing before she did it. The wait was about 10 minutes, and I arrived about 10 minutes late.
Doctor is so professional explaining the detail of procedures and pricing (out-of-pocket) expenses, hand-out brochures choices of material need to be done in the procedures. I highly recommend the Dr. Kay Park to everyone and office staffs..

I went to a lens fitting appointment in February - it's July and I still don't have contacts. This office is impossible to contact - they ignore their voicemails and the phone is disconnected for the hours they claim to be open. They billed my entire insurance contact lens allowance in April (yes, it took that long for them to place an order) and I never heard from them. I've been calling every day for weeks and finally got in touch with a temp who told me that 1) they never received any lenses and 2) that their manager would call on Monday (that's today), and in a surprising turn of events they never called! I just want my insurance allowance back so I can get the lenses I need to see. If you depend on your vision correction to function in your daily life like I do, avoid this office at all cost.

My exam felt a bit rushed and I was actually given the incorrect eye prescription (about 0.75 difference to my usual prescription). I mentioned this and was given a slightly higher, but still incorrect prescription and was told that people are often overprescribed. I tried out the sample contacts lens to give benefit of the doubt but it was definitely not strong enough to give me clear vision. Overall, a inconvenient experience as I had used up my yearly exam to get an updated prescription to get glasses which I wasn’t able to do.
Was Nice and Friendly

I was overcharged and the doctor barely examed my eye. She said they were dry and recommended eye drops. NO idea how I was billed with insurance. Never again.

The office was nice and clean and the staff were friendly but I felt like I was being overly sold on tests and medication without being given any reason. One of the medications I was given is a new product and it burnt so much it was agony for 10 minutes after applying it.
Dr. Park explained everything that she did during the exam. She asked if I had any other questions and she answered those very thoroughly. I was very pleased.
Verified patient
Dr Park is great! She took time to explain what my symptoms meant and how to treat them. She even accommodated renewing my eyeglass prescription when I asked, on top of what initial reason for coming in. The wait was very long, over an hour. I parked in a 2 hour zone and by the time I left I had 15 minutes before the time was up.
Verified patient
It was wonderful to see Dr. Park. She’s very thorough, listens carefully and seems to genuinely care about her patients’ concerns.
Verified patient
She is a great doctor! They also have a pediatric practice in their office which is interesting, but because of the amount of patients checking in I feel like they need more front office staff. This is not saying anything bad about the staff or doctors, Just feeling sorry for how busy everyone seems to be with how many patients they need to see !

Very good and thorough, but long wait times.
Dr. Park and her team are fantastic. I got in and out of a 2pm appointment, everyone was kind and helpful, and very informative about what all the tests were. I get very tense at eye exams, but I would recommend her a million times over.
Verified patient
The visit itself was acceptable. The appalling thing was when I got the bill. I was charged for both a medical exam and a vision exam. They did a vision field test which they claimed is part of the medical exam, but honestly it felt like they were just trying to throw on extra charges. If a service is a separate charge and especially if it's not covered under insurance, they should let you know before they proceed. Instead, this vision field test was the first thing they had me do, without any warning that it would be an additional fee. I was extremely irritated and taken aback when I received the bill. I called and the explanation that I was given by "Mike" was that this is part of the medical exam. If they had been upfront from the beginning, it wouldn't have been an issue, but it came across sneaky and scheming. Medical problems are annoying enough without feeling like you're getting scammed. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Dr. Kay is very professional and knowledgeable. She addressed all of my questions and concerns about my eye health. Also, my last eye doctor appeared to have reversed the prescription numbers between my left and right eye. Dr Kay noticed and now I can see very well!

Nice, fast, smart and staff was nice too.

This was my first visit to Dr Park, and I chose her based upon online reviews. She is very professional and kind. I felt like my questions were answered and needs were met. I waited less than 15 minutes to be seen. The office staff was efficient and friendly. The Montrose office is nothing fancy - in fact, badly in need of a facelift. Old linoleum tile floors, torn upholstery on furniture, needs painting. I was expecting a modern doctor's office and didn't realize it is in the back of a small optical shop. However, this did not affect the quality of my eye exam or the professional care I received. Perhaps the Glendale office is more updated.
Very professional and efficient!
Verified patient
Dr Park is kind and knowledgeable. She is thorough and addresses the eye health concerns very professionally. I am a returning patient.
Very professional and complete.
Verified patient
Exactly how a visit to a doctor should be. She is methodical, detail-oriented, knowledgable, fields questions well, and has good "bedside" manner.

I'm fairly disappointed with my entire experience at the Vision Care Medical Group in Glendale, CA. I was new to the area and had a difficult time finding the building on the day of the appointment. I called their office, but it was only an automated system. None of the number options connected you to a live person except when pressing “0” for the Operator, who redirected you to the automated system again. I finally found the building after receiving help from a kind patient out front. Once I walked into the suite, the front desk receptionist was not friendly nor welcome and she immediately threw paperwork at me to fill out. After I filled out the paperwork, it was already 10 minutes past my appointment time. No one had called my name during those 10 minutes and then I proceeded to wait another 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. At one point, someone finally had come out to take me back. The assistant was nice, except I feel she could have been more thorough when cleaning the equipment, which was shared by hundreds of different patients. Dr. Kay Park, MD, arrived into the room shortly and we began the eye examine, which went fairly well. However, once she found out I was unable to do the eye dilation, her mood immediately changed and she became very cold towards me. She directed me out of the room and started doing other things unrelated to my appointment. I was confused, as there was no affirmation that my contacts would be ordered, so I asked her directly. She said that they’d order them for me. It’s been three weeks since the eye examine and no one has called me to let me know the status of my contacts order. I’ve left two voicemails on two different days and I am still waiting for a return call. Because of my negative experience with the staff and how they choose to run the Glendale Vision Care Medical Group, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as this is completely unacceptable from a customer service level.

she is fabulous: took a lot of time with me, answered all my questions and showed an impressive attention to details. would recommend her without doubt to anyone.
Verified patient
When I arrived, the wait was a little long, but that might be because I was a new patient and my insurance had to be cleared. Once I got inside the inner office, everyone was very nice and professional. Dr. Park even took the time to go through my list of vision tests that I had to get done for work and add them to my vision medical record. Overall, a pleasant experience.
