Dr. Kecia Helene Gerlach is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to women throughout the New York City area. Fully certified as an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Gerlach enjoys interacting with women of all ages and is known for her caring, compassionate bedside manner. She understands the excitement and worry that many women feel while expecting a child and puts her professional knowledge to use to ease the concerns of mothers-to-be.
Dr. Gerlach completed her medical degree at the John C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University and completed her residency at New York Downtown Hospital. Since having her own child, she has worked in private practice. As a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Gerlach is committed to staying current on new developments and innovations in the field of women's health.
She has been involved in a number of cancer and neurological research projects and enjoys exploring medical research. In addition to her medical education, Dr. Gerlach has studied several languages and can converse in French and German. She is affiliated with New York Downtown Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center.
