Getting to know Dr. Keith Christie

Therapy is an opportunity for you to learn about yourself and make the changes you want or need to make emotionally, cognitively, relationally, or behaviorally. It is an art that must be tailored to each person. My job as your therapist is to create an environment that helps you grow and actively seize opportunities to make different choices and write your own story. I use empathy, active listening, and honest feedback while taking a problem-solving approach. I'm careful not to make choices for you but help you learn to make them for yourself. Mood disorders are one of the many groups of problems I enjoy helping people through. This often involves recognizing and defining our emotions while also accepting what we cannot control. Interventions in and out of session will help you regain control and enjoy a higher quality of life. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Online, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.
