About Dr. Kelley London
For Kelley London, MD, one of the most rewarding things about being a women’s health physician is being able to share in the many special milestones in a woman's life. And, as if that’s not enough, after more than two decades in practice Dr. London is now caring for women that she actually delivered. Dr. London is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist at Westmoreland Obstetrics and Gynecologic Associates, a leader in women’s health for more than four decades with offices on the North Shore of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff and in the Western suburb of Grayslake, Illinois.
She began her medical career as an undergraduate at the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. Dr. London earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She then continued her clinical training as an obstetrics and gynecology resident at Cook County Health & Hospitals System in Chicago.
Dr. London is passionate about all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical dysplasia, minimally invasive treatment of menstrual irregularities, peri- and postmenopausal hormonal conditions, and vaginal and vulvar atrophy and dystrophy. When she isn’t helping her patients, Dr. London enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. London was the first OBGYN that I’ve been to and truly felt heard. She took the time to actually introduce herself to me before the exam because I was a new patient. She was very professional and educational.

Dr. London is not a good listener. She comes in and starts spewing all her worldly knowledge without asking a single important question about you. Instead, she talks at you the entire time. Although she has no problem telling you how certified and knowledgeable she is in menopause, I would not recommend her for women going through peri or full on menopause. Find someone who wants to treat YOU.

The woman who confirms appointments was a little less friendly than I would have hoped over the phone. However, in person, all the staff was great. And I was super pleased with Dr.London. I explained how I have a lot of social anxiety and that her entire office was a new experience for me. She kept me calm and I felt very supported the entire time. I like that they offer to have a nurse in the room as support, should you choose to. I have only had experience with 2 other OB/Gyns in the last 17 years, but I'm so happy to have found her after a move made it necessary. I'd definitely recommend her.

I saw this provider and she was very smart and had great reviews. She took time to talk to me and listen to my concerns. However, the exam was ver painful at 57 years old I’ve never had such a painful yearly exam. I had a basic Pap smear. She stated she difficulty finding my cervix- which no one ever has before during an exam . I do not think that she used anything to allow the instruments to slide in easily. ( she forgot lubricant) I stated I was in pain and I continued to hurt after I left the office and cramp with the rest of the day, I have never experienced anything like this pain during a routine exam or pap. The Office has gowns, but they gave me a gown that was ginormous, and wouldn’t even stay wrapped around me because soo too big . I assume they don’t look at sizing? . I had my appointment at 11 AM today. It is 930 at night and I’m still having cramping!!

Doctor did not listen to my concerns and was incredibly dismissive. The notes from my visit indicated that something was wrong, so I scheduled a follow up visit where I asked about the notes. She had told me that nothing was wrong, and when I brought up the discrepancy in the notes, I was told I was being foolish and wasted her time with my concerns and needed to listen to the "professional." The notes did not make sense, and she didn't even bother to pull them up to go over it with me. The follow up was virtual and it seemed like she wasn't paying any attention to my concerns, and possibly doing other work during my follow up. This seems like a doctor who doesn't prioritize clear communication and does not value building a safe and reliable relationship with their patients. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want someone who listens and values your state of mind as well as your health.
