About Dr. Kelly Tang
Dr. Kelly Tang was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving her B.S. in Biopsychology. She worked in San Francisco before moving to Chicago, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2022. Her externships during school emphasized treatment of dry eye disease, myopia control in children, co-management of patients after refractive and cataract surgery, and primary care.
Since graduating, she returned to Los Angeles to be closer to family. When she is not in the office, she likes to travel, enjoy the sunshine, visit museums, watch baseball, and relax at home with her partner, her three cats, and chickens!
Dr. Tang’s goal is to maximize quality of life by teaching patients better habits for healthy eyes. She values patient understanding and is committed to explaining exam findings clearly and concisely.

My visit with Dr. Tang was so lovely. She was attentive in listening and chatting through my medical history, as well as providing helpful insights to consider as I adapt to LA allergies and aging eyes. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and made me feel comfortable with the process of selecting new contact lenses -- even providing samples of a few to test out before ordering! I highly recommend visiting Dr. Tang!

My daughter had a great experience here so I figured I'd give them a try while I was in town visiting her. I was so happy I did! In fact, my wife ended up going in right after me. Super easy to get an appointment that fit our travel schedule and Dr. Kelly couldn't have been more helpful and fun to deal with. Lots of great suggestions about my vision care, super friendly staff, very expert care. I highly recommend them!
