About Dr. Ken Mayemura

Ken Mayemura, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1992. He earned his Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fullerton, where he was honored with the Miles McCarthy Award for outstanding academic achievement, integrity, and commitment to serving humanity. During his training, Dr. Mayemura completed externships at Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Brentwood, California, and Tacoma, Washington. While at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, he developed a deep appreciation for the Pacific Northwest, which led him to establish his practice in the region. In 1998, he acquired Magnolia Eye Care, later expanding his practice to also include Bartlett Eye Clinic. Dr. Mayemura is passionate about implementing innovative solutions in vision and ocular health care. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve the best possible outcomes by providing personalized care and educating them on their eye care health.
