About Dr. Kenneth Chu

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Kenneth Chu has served Laser Eye Center patients with full-scope optometric care — encouraging every patient to take the first step toward their best vision yet. He provides comprehensive eye care and refractive-surgery co-management across dry eye, refractive (LASIK & PRK), EVO ICL, cataract, pterygium (carnosidad), keratoconus, co-management contact-lens fitting, as well as cosmetic procedures. Dr. Chu earned his bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctor of Optometry at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. He trained in full-scope eye care at the Indian Health Service Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, and is a member of the Asian American Optometric Society. Patients value Dr. Chu's steady, hands-on approach built over two decades of practice. He welcomes new patients across Laser Eye Center's Los Angeles–area locations.
