About Dr. Kenneth Dortone
Kenneth J. D’Ortone, DPM, has been helping patients in Philadelphia heal foot and ankle pain for over 35 years. He specializes in the management and rehabilitation of all foot and ankle conditions at the Center for Foot and Ankle Excellence.
Dr. D’Ortone believes in partnering with patients. He always spends time listening to concerns and provides information and resources before recommending treatment options. Together, as a doctor-patient team working toward long-term solutions for foot, heel and ankle complications.
Dr. D’Ortone’s expertise lies in getting to the root cause of foot pain and providing solutions for long-term foot health. This expertise includes diabetic foot care, wound care, sports-related injuries and treatment of all nail conditions. As a former surgeon, performing thousands of successful surgeries over 30 years, Dr. D’Ortone recommends surgical treatment and partners with the podiatric surgical staff team at Roxborough Memorial Hospital.
Dr. D’Ortone’s interest in medicine grew out of his experience as a student athlete at the Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated with a degree in Health and Physical Education, Kinesiology and Athletic Training. After he received his doctoral degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University, Dr. D’Ortone completed surgical residencies at both Parkview Hospital and Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. D’Ortone is a Diplomat of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
