About Dr. Kenneth L Gwinn
Kenneth L. Gwinn, M.D., F.A.C.S. was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and his medical degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois. After completing otolaryngology residency training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, he performed a fellowship year of additional training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto. He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ENT), as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was chosen as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S). He has devoted his professional career to all aspects of Otolaryngology, with special interests in rhinology and the treatment of sinus and nasal disorders, in both adults and children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, cheering for “His” World Champion Chicago Cubs and trying (unsuccessfully) to outscore his High School varsity golfing daughter.

Dr. Gwinn and his staff were great! He and his medical assistant were very thorough with my extensive medical history, he explained things in great detail. Although it is unfortunate to have to see him due to medical issues, I’m greatly looking forward to great medical care to feel better!

I was there prior to my appointment time. I was called half an hour later than my appointment time. I get into the exam room, then I'm told the doctor is 2 hours behind. I was not told that he was going to be that late. Supposedly I was supposed to receive a phone call to tell me that so I could reschedule. I never did get a call.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Kenneth’s office. I originally scheduled an appointment for December 5, but when I arrived, the front desk informed me that my appointment had been changed to the previous day without my knowledge or consent. The staff claimed the change was due to the doctor being fully booked, but I was never notified or asked for confirmation.
I explained that I had taken a day off work specifically for this appointment, but the receptionist showed no concern and stated there was nothing they could do to help. The staff were rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction.
This lack of communication and disregard for my time is unacceptable. I do not recommend this office to anyone, as they appear to prioritize their own convenience over respecting their patients’ schedules
