He was chief resident during his surgical residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital, which focused on foot and ankle trauma and complicated diabetic wounds. Dr. DeAngelis is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and an associate of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is hyperbaric oxygen certified, a wound care specialist, as well as laser certified. Dr. DeAngelis is the medical director of the Brandywine Wound Care Center. Dr. DeAngelis currently serves as the director of residency training at Brandywine Hospital and serves as Chief of Podiatric surgery.
