“My entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! From booking my appointment to driving up to a clean and well-maintained parking lot and a clean well-lit reception area, being greeted by the friendly staff at the check-in counter. The assistant staff who did my check in for the doctor was exceptionally professional and had a great bedside manner. Dr. Khoathu Tran was AMAZING with a great personality, and she was VERY through and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me where it was easy for me to understand what and why she was performing each procedure. About Dr. Khoathu Tran

Khoathu Tran, O.D. is a board-licensed comprehensive optometrist serving patients at our Lilburn location. She offers a range of services including comprehensive eye exams with prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lens, and treatment of various ocular conditions such as dry eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, among others. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN after attending Georgia State University where she graduated with honors, receiving an undergraduate degree in Biology. Dr. Tran completed a residency in ocular disease with an emphasis in cornea and contact lenses as well as refractive surgery at Georgia Eye Partners and is a current member of the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Tran’s greatest joy as an optometrist is forming personal connections with her patients. She is particularly passionate about fitting specialty contact lenses for challenging cases to improve patients’ quality of life, as well as managing ocular diseases. When she is not working, Dr. Tran loves hiking with her two dogs, traveling and immersing herself in new cultures, and playing board games.

She was not very engaging or thorough. I spent more time in the lobby than the actual appointment. The appointment seemed rushed like she was ready to leave for lunch. Some pros are she was friendly but that was pretty much it. The staff looks miserable to be there and did not communicate with you and just point you to sign yourself in. If this is your last day on earth than sure but other than that. Choose a different location.
