About Dr. Kimberly Smith-Howard
Kimberly Smith-Howard, D.C. is a licensed chiropractor serving patients on the southside of Atlanta. She is accepting new patients of all ages, including prenatal care, infants and children, families, and seniors. Dr. Kimberly utilizes several techniques, including full-spine/diversified, activator, Thompson, and extremity adjusting. She treats musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, sciatica, neck pain, muscle, tendon, and ligament sprains/strains, headaches, sports injuries, and auto- and work-related injuries.
A native of Georgia, Dr. Kimberly earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Health Coaching. She is currently enrolled at Life University to finish her master’s degree in positive psychology. She is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association, the League of Chiropractic Women, and serves on the executive board of Alpha Delta Upsilon, a professional chiropractic sorority.
Dr. Kimberly has a passion for helping people achieve their optimal health potential without drugs or surgery. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness and educates her patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body through nutrition, exercise, sleep, positive mental health, and clearing the spine of nerve interference with chiropractic care. She believes the body was created with the ability to heal itself under optimal conditions when the nervous system is free of interference. Dr. Kimberly provides care to align the spine and help the body function as it was designed. Her friendly demeanor puts patients at ease and encourages open dialogue to address each person’s individual needs. She strives to help her patients understand their condition and how chiropractic adjustments will impact their health.

I went to see Dr. Kim for daily migraine headaches. I have been seeing a neurologist for 5 years with no relief. I left Dr. Kim’s office feeling better than I expected. I didn’t want to get my hopes up since nothing else has helped but now I believe she will be able to help me even if it is to lessen the frequency and severity. I still had a migraine when I left but it was not near as severe as it was when I got there. I can’t wait until my next visit!
