“I am a highly satisfied new patient of Dr. Young. I choose this doctor based on the feedback provided by others and on his credentials listed on Zocdoc. Dr Young treated me with much respect, he asked the appropriate questions, he listened when I spoke and what impressed me the most, was that he took the time to review my medical records saved on the portal from my previous doctor. The office was clean, friendly and professional staff. I received my test results with two days. Overall, if there was a higher rating scale, that’s what I would have chosen for Dr Young. Highly recommend. ”

About Dr. Kirk Young
Kirk Young is a dependable and considerate OB-GYN. Dr. Young is a part of WCPN and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dr. Young was born and raised in New York City and received a B.A. in Biology from Brown University, followed by an MD degree from the NYU School of Medicine. After completing his residency and Chief Residency at NYU/Langone Medical Center he entered private ob/gyn practice.
While building his private practice he worked professionally at several other venues. Early in his career he volunteered at The Door, a multidisciplinary counseling, medical, and career service center, all under one roof, serving NYC’s runaways and other at-risk adolescents. He also worked at the Bellevue Hospital Adolescent Gyn clinic and served as the United States Coast Guard’s obstetrician and Gyn consultant for Active Duty servicewomen and wives of servicemen, at the Coast Guard Infirmary on Governor’s Island before they left NYC in 1996. He was a Voluntary Attending Physician for many years at St. Vincent’s Medical Center until they closed their doors for good in 2010.
His special interests include the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and abnormal Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, and the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal vaginal bleeding and peri-menopausal disorders. He is pro-choice and comfortable with discussing alternative sexual lifestyles from celibacy to polyamory.
