About Dr. Kourosh Noormand
Dr. Noormand was trained in anesthesiology by the renowned Albert Einstein University in New York. He then did a fellowship training in pain management at Saint Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in New York. Currently he is the director of anesthesia and pain management at Kindred Hospital, Los Angeles. Few of the procedures that he performs includes Stellate Ganglion Block, Epidural Injections and Intrathecal Pumps Discogrm. He has been practicing pain management and anesthesiology since 1994 and his goal is to reduce pain during the procedure as well as after the procedure. Dr. Noormand is extremely active and he enjoys biking, swimming and rollerblading. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife and his four children. He also likes to read philosophy books as well as religious books.

Scheduled appointment. Appointment confirmed and forms filled out drove to office the next morning. Doctor was not in. No visit and I’m out 3 hours of my day.

The office had no record of my appointment through zocdoc and did not accept my insurance. I paid $150 for a 3 minute consultation in which I was prescribed over the counter medication. The doctor touched my area of concern for less than 30 seconds, asked no questions, and gave a memorized speech that I could barely hear. I am in shock.

? I was led to believe that they excepted my insurance, when I arrived, I was told that they didn’t. Then presented with fees. Not cool to do to someone who is in horrible pain.
