“Dr. Chu is a great gynecologist. I came in for a papsmear and they tend to be painful for me. She was so kind and explained why sometimes Pap smears hurt. She treated me with a lot of care and gentleness. Usually I leave these appointments feeling pretty uncomfortable but I felt like she was very caring and non judgmental and did her best to make me feel comfortable. ”

Dr. Chu is an assistant clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Chu has a diversified practice with interests in the treatment of fibroids, evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding, assessment of cervical dysplasia with colposcopic evaluation and treatment, vaginal and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy), osteoporosis, menopause and perimenopause, and well-women care.
