About Dr. Kurte Shepherd
I'm Dr. Kurte Shepherd, a licensed podiatrist with over 18 years of experience caring for foot and ankle issues at Elite FootCare of Texas, Inc. I earned my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University and completed externships in podiatric medicine at the University of Texas, San Antonio; Hunter Holmes McGuire Richmond Veterans Administration Medical Center; and Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta. Throughout my career, I've helped families diagnose, cope with, and correct many lower leg problems resulting from daily activities or chronic illness.
When I opened my practice, my goal was to serve the community by creating a comfortable and caring environment. Our patients appreciate the short wait times, personalized care, and our natural ability to treat every patient like family. We treat the whole patient, not just the feet they walk on, so all visits are entirely comprehensive.

He is the best doctor ever! He is very nice, funny & friendly. Very knowledgeable and the appointment was fast but he definitely took the time to listen and hear out my concerns. I needed X-Rays and it was done in office immediately and was able to look over the results with him as well. The way the office is run is very well with a friendly front desk and barely a wait time. He has so much education and knowledge about his specialty. I wish he was a pcp so I could see him yearly! 10/10 recommend

I was a thoroughly satisfied. I entered in great pain on my left foot especially, after listening to my specific problem it was clear what should be done. On my return follow up visit 4 weeks later my foot was 65-70% better. My doctor was knowledgeable as well as pleasant.
