“So kind and thorough. She answered all my questions without rushing and was very empathetic about my concerns. She reassured me that if she couldn’t run the tests needed to figure out what’s wrong, she would point me in the right direction so I can get answers. She also explained that while she usually advises patients to wait a week before calling for test results (since some take longer than others), she didn’t want me waiting longer than necessary, so she encouraged me to call in three days. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and care.”

I never felt awkward and appreciated the meaningful discussion about my career and liked that she shared a bit about her life in a discussion about mental health services. Often healthcare settings can feel sterile, you feel like a number, somebody anonymous. I felt cared for and listened to and never demeaned. One can be professional but inject their own personality into their work, if that is what you want this is the nurse for you. ”
