“Dr. Picciano is by far the best GP I have seen in Philadelphia since I moved here from France in 1999. My health is very precarious now and she took the time to listen to all my physical problems. I am not going anywhere else. She is extremely knowledgeable and kind and cares about her patients. I very highly recommend her! She kept me in the office for an hour for my first visit. ”

The doctor was very friendly, very outgoing and did a great job explaining everything. The exam was thorough, more so than my last doctor. She made me feel at ease. She also saw me pretty much right on the dot when the appointment was supposed to be, which I really appreciate.

Dr. Picciano was very caring. Great listener & knew what she was talking about. So hard finding a great PCP & I think I found a keeper with her. So far so good.
The practice was pristine. My doctor was amazing. She listened to all my concerns that had accumulated over the pandemic year and gave me clear action steps/solutions. I’m confident all my concerns will be resolved/figured out soon and I’m happy to have found a PCP that I can stick with for the long haul. Highly recommend.

My PCP made a career shift, so I’m currently looking for a new one, which coincided with a recent health concern. So, I made an appointment with Dr. Picciano because the practice is super conviently located and I was able to set up an appointment right away. To my dismay, the entire appointment from the moment I walked into the waiting room was disappointing. When I arrived, I was not met with a greeting, but with a slew of questions - many of which I answered prior to my arrival, per their request, in the patient portal. When I was called to the back by the Physician’s Assistant - who was very warm and professional, and proved to be a silver lining in this experience - she collected all of my vitals and began to ask me about why I’ve come into the doctor’s office when the doctor burst into the room saying, “Do you mind if I jump in? There’s a lot of people waiting in the waiting room” then turns to me and says, “This is why it’s important to show up on time”. I nearly got up and walked out then. I responded to her that I was actually early. What she didn’t know was that I was in the waiting room with the receptionists for about 15 minutes, not only because they asked me questions that I had already answered (and to which responses they already had as proven by the “Oh, we already have that” retort once I answered the redundant questions), but because there was an error in their card reader where it wouldn’t even connect to the computer. Although, I knew that - along with staff - she did not and her assumption was that I was the cause of the delay. The frustration is that she had the audacity to even say it to me as a patient, a new one at that. But that’s not where the story ends, unfortunately. As we went through the appointment, several red flags occurred: 1. She told me if she could, she would “throw the whole pharm” at me, meaning she would just issue drugs to resolve my problem - which for transparency’s sake was a migraine that I experienced twice in the last month (over doing it much?), 2. While asking me historical and demographical questions she said, “I’m going to assume your single” to which I corrected her and said “No, I’m married”. This information is in my patient portal, I also mentioned it to the receptionist, I’m also wearing my ring. Being a Black woman, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced microagressions like this, but I was so disturbed by her boldness and disrespect. A simple “What’s your marital status?” would suffice. Assumptions make a...you know the rest. I will not be returning. This was my first experience with Mainline Health and it may be my last.
Loved my visit with Dr. Picciano. Very friendly, professional, and understanding. Took the time to get to know me and address all my needs. Made me feel very comfortable. Would recommend her efficient office over and over!
Dr. Picciano is great. Great bedside manner, no pressure, so pleasant. And she does a great annual exam. Zones in on the important stuff, great physical exam technique, all the while engaging you about what’s important to you. I’m so happy I found her.

It went well. Dr.was prompt to attend to me. She was pleasant and she dived into my health history with no reservation. I was very impressed with her being so attentive and everything was quick I was done in time to go to work by the next hour. I was also pleased that I was able to see the doctor the next day without waiting weeks or a month for an appointment. Kudos to Zocdoc.

Dr. Picciano has been phenomenal each and every time I have visited! She always listens to me and assured me that we will figure out what’s going on or she suggests solutions that actually help! It is so refreshing to be able to tell a doctor what is wrong, and for them to take care of you without hesitation. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Dr. P was very attentive and listened to my concerns. She was able to order further tests right away and filled a prescription instantly. She was kind and I felt very comfortable with her as a new patient.
Verified patient
I had a wonderful visit. But because Zocdoc mentioned it as preventative visit we couldn't address everything. I have now scheduled another visit for other concerns. The Dr. P has amazing bedside manners and was a really good listener throughout the visit.
