“Dr. Sciaroni repaired a torn miniscus on one of my knees 15 years ago (it was so well done that once it healed I didn't even recall which knee!) So, when I started having knee pain recently, I went straight back to her. This time she thinks the situation will resolve itself with exercise and PT which I was relieved to hear. I appreciated her questions, her attentive listening, her thorough exam of both my knees and her conservative approach to treatment. She's very professional, knows her stuff and also has great "bedside" manner. I highly recommend her to anyone.”

Dr. Sciaroni has been in practice in San Francisco for 15 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at The Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Sciaroni concentrates her practice in sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery, with particular focus on surgery and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee.
She is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. She serves as a team physician for Skyline College and is affiliated with the St. Francis Center for Sports Medicine. She holds memberships in the San Francisco Medical Society, Western Orthopaedic Association, California Orthopaedic Association, California Medical Association, Bay Area Knee Society, and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Fortunately, the science and technology applied in orthopedics has advanced significantly in the last decade and I make it a top priority to keep pace with that progress when it can benefit my patients. In combination with judicious use of medications, physical therapy and patient education, the opportunity to achieve a positive outcome for my patients is now higher than ever. To ensure this, our office provides every patient with excellent resources for understanding how they can take an active role in their recovery to get the best possible result.
