Dr. Sciaroni was fantastic! She spent a good deal of time listening to the history of my injuries & doing physical tests on my knees / hips. She gave an in depth assessment and recommended physical therapy instead of trying to take me into surgery right away, which I've dealt with with other doctors.
Excellent! Well-versed. Listens to patient. Works for best solution.
Dr. Sciaroni is empathetic and efficient -- she pays full attention to you while you're in her office, discusses and explains all options for treatment thoroughly, and is kind and highly professional. Will definitely revisit with any future orthopedic issues!
Wonderful. Everyone was friendly.
Terrible overall experience here, will definitely never revisit.
Bright, engaged, answers every question.
Dr. Sciaroni has guided me through all kinds of sports injuries over the years - elbow, calf, shoulder, ankle, and lower back. I'm currently pregnant and really grateful to have her in my corner as I work through an unfortunately timed back injury. She always sees me on time (or even early) and I dig that she's an athlete herself! Choice of SF or Daly City office locations is also pretty convenient.
I got to my appointment 40 minutes early and was out by my real appointment time.
Wow! Dr. Sciaroni just.. rocks. I came in with what I thought was a broken finger, she took one look, diagnosed it, double checked with a quick x-ray, answered all my questions, made me feel better about my finger (and life) and I was outta there in 10 minutes. Rockstar status!
There wasn't any wait, she was onpoint and explanatory.
So helpful and appointment was quick and straight to the point!
Dr. Sciaroni is a compassionate surgeon who takes the time to explain all the procedures, side effects and expected outcomes. I couldn't be more pleased with her command of the latest research and her ability to translate that medical jargon in laypersons' terms.
Very capable, experienced & attentive!
I think she is an excellent doctor, gives me good advice and seems to care about my health. I don't feel like I'm in a medical factory when I am in her care.
The office has the nicest and warm welcome environment starting from the receptionist. Dr Laura is really nice and informative. Love the overall and everything.
Skilled. Compassionate. Forthcoming in answering Qs.
She is very professional, a good listener and very kind. And she knows what she's talking about.
She is a first-rate physician and Surgeon, and spent about 15 minutes reviewing the x-rays, after which her asst. arranged an MRI and she gave me an RX for pain medications.
She was good but the wait time is really bad.
Fantastic doctor and extremely helpful staff. Dr. Sciaroni is extremely pleasant and explained my diagnosis in extremely easy-to-understand terms (she even drew a diagram). When my I was having trouble finding a brace provider within my network, Dr. Sciaroni's team got on the phone with my insurance and providers within the area and were able to find one on my behalf. I highly recommend Dr. Sciaroni!
I recommend Dr Sciaroni highly!
Dr. Sciaroni was kind and emphathetic, but quickly and clearly laid out my options. I feel well prepared to take the steps to recovery.
The doctor rushed me to get me out of there. I am not satisfied for the deductible I am paying. Would not recommend to my friends.
Dr. Sciaroni is thorough and clear in her explanations and recommendations. My appt was quick and easy, which was what I was hoping for.
Dr. Laura is the greatest. As a 60-something who is trying to keep active (sometimes a bit too active...) she is very cognizant of the needs of the aging Boomers who aren't ready to quit and sit.
Dr. Laura Sciaroni and her team are excellent. They treated me with professionalism and kindness. She discussed options with me and answered all my questions. I do recommend her.
Dr.Laura was really great and thorough. She works fast but doesn't overlook anything. I highly recommend her!
Efficient, nice and informative.
Dr. Sciaroni was excellent. I'd recommend her to friends. I'd also offer a word of caution about the office staff. Make sure to insist on paper copies before leaving because they lose paperwork. Upon checkout, Dr. Sciaroni told the office assistant that I needed an MRI urgently and to make sure the order was sent in immediately. They sent me to get blood tests and told me they would call within an hour with the MRI order (required for MRI facilities). They never called. Over the next two days, I called several times. Each time they told me they would call me back within an hour and never did. Finally I trekked back to the office (on crutches) and was able to get the MRI order in person. The staff member admitted they had "lost it" and acknowledged they have serious problems with returning calls.
I have been a patient of Dr Sciaroni for a number of years and always find her to be professional, knowledgable, and skillful. Plus she listens!
She was very nice, i was worried cause of the 1 star reviews, but when i saw her smiling face i knew i chose the right doctor, she was very thorough, and checked everything to make the right diagnosis. thanks dr sciaroni. for making people feel comfortable.
Dr. Laura Sciaroni is awesome! Great bedside manner, very comprehensive overview of what was going on with my body and why. Recommended Physical Therapists nearby and offered an introduction so I could get in right away. Highly recommend her! Unfortunately the receptionists at the front desk for the practice are a hot mess. At first they couldn't find my appointment, then they couldn't locate my chart information (which was submitted through Zocdoc). They seemed to be running around frantically the entire time. Finally after waiting 40 minutes, I asked when I would see the doctor. My appointment was at 10AM and they informed me the appointment was 11AM (after I had told them it was 10AM upon checking in). After I showed them the confirmation email from Zocdoc, they had me see the doctor right away and blamed the situation on the computer system: "it's hard to tell what time the appointment is, 10AM looks like 11AM." The issue was clearly a lack of communication and proper adherence to check-in procedures for the front desk, so it seemed unsavory to blame it on the computer system.
Dr. Sciaroni is friendly and listened to my problem and questions. She seemed thorough in her examination and was clear about the treatment. I had more questions at the end and she was patient to answer them. I would highly recommend her.
She was very warm and efficient.
We had a quick visit, but Dr. Sciaroni was great listening to my symptoms and my questions and helping with specific advice to relieve the pain.
Waited more than 30 min. for my appointment, but everything else went smoothly!
She's great and i like her a lot.
she was amazing with my 12 year old boy
Worth the wait
I really really like my Dr. She is the BEST in my book. I just referred someone to her. I've got to get some of her business cards to give to people when I'm asked for an Ortho. Outstanding
Excellent bedside manner; took the time to examine my MRI and X-rays, then to examine my knee. She discussed with me the available options and we agreed on the best approach. I would highly recommend her.
Dr Sciaroni is awesome. She was super prompt knowing I had to get to work...I think she even cut her lunch break short to accommodate me. She is thorough, professional and knowledgeable.
It was almost perfect (wait time was a bit long).
She explained everything clearly, good bedside manners, very efficient. I got an injection and she explained everything step by step, with good care.
My visit was par excellent. No packed waiting room, the atmos
What a great experience!
Excellent Surgeon. Provides thorough and well-thought out responses to questions.
Dr. Sciaroni was great at explaining my injury in laymen's terms, and also was patient in answering some of my additional questions, huge pluses for me when it comes to doctors. Her staff had great positive energy and was easy to work with. I highly recommend!
This was a follow-up visit after initial consultation. She explained imaging results thoroughly and answered all of my questions in a thoughtful manner. Thank you.
This was my first visit with Dr. Sciaroni. She provided useful insights into a chronic back condition that I've had, laying out a plan to address. So far so good.
I was late by about 15 minutes but I was still able to meet with doctor. Doctor was knowledgable, explained the issue very well, reassured that it will be fine in a week. I am glad I chose the Dr.
I went to Dr Sciaroni for a 2nd opinion. She was attentive, informative, and gave me plenty of time for questions. Based on my very small interaction with her, I would see her again.
It was my first visit, wait time was too much but once she came in things went fine. She analysed me and gave me couple of prescriptions.
Excellent...she answered all my Qs.
Very friendly staff!
Very professional. Listened to my issues and seemed very knowledgeable.
