I believe that we all have the potential to be our best selves and can use some support getting there from time to time. I am honored to be a part of my clients' journeys as they move through life. Together, we can carry whatever load you have been struggling with and eventually make that load lighter. Each person is unique in their life path, and I tailor the therapy experience to meet my clients upon that path. I may utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy depending upon each client's individual goals and preferences. I specialize in working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. I also have experience with eating disorders, relationship concerns, sexuality and gender issues, and life transitions. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, my master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and both my master's and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University. I have worked in a wide variety of mental health settings including inpatient, substance abuse treatment programs, schools, and in the private practice sector.
