Dr. Vataniman earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from William Jessup University and completed both her master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology at Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University, where she developed advanced training in psychological assessment and psychodynamic therapy. Her approach is both careful and compassionate. She believes that a high-quality evaluation should do more than assign labels—it should help people make sense of their experiences, identify their strengths, and move toward effective support and meaningful growth. Dr. Vataniman is also committed to practicing with cultural humility and sensitivity, recognizing that every person’s story, background, and context matter in the assessment process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial sessions are with Dr. Vataniman entail a detailed discussion of your history, current concern, and any previous treatment. Testing sessions are activity based, but breaks are encouraged. At the end, you will receive a comprehensive report of which all will be discussed with Dr. Vataniman to make sure that the report is an accurate description.
