Hi, I'm Lauren Whitlow, PsyD, a licensed psychologist who works individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel safe, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a warm, affirming environment where you can openly explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and resilience. I take a collaborative, individualized approach to treatment and draw from evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma informed interventions, family systems approaches, and mindfulness based techniques. My experience spans outpatient, school based, hospital, and integrated healthcare settings, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and goals. I also bring a holistic perspective to my work, informed by my training as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I earned my Doctor of Psychology degree from Marshall University, completed my APA accredited internship at Applewood Centers in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed my postdoctoral fellowship with Achievement Center of LECOM Health and Corry Counseling Center.
