Dr. Friedman trained at Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa and worked as the chief of a burn unit prior to moving to Dallas. He started his practice in Richardson in 1981. Dr. Friedman has extensive experience working in general medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN (he no longer delivers babies), dermatology, asthma/allergy and various other fields. His patients repeatedly comment about his humor and bedside manner and many of his patients have been with the practice for over 15 years. Dr. Friedman's wife Lorene routinely helps out in the office and is certified to perform various cosmetic procedures. Dr. Friedman has three children all of which are also involved in the medical field (2 doctors, 1 dentist). In his free time Dr. Friedman enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and training his two parrots to say various amusing phrases.

Dr. Friedman and his whole staff are amazing. They were all very patient with us and listened to all of our concerns. We even received a phone call after the appointments of him checking on us. I would highly recommendthis doctor to anyone because he actually listens to you and takes everything into consideration. He (and his staff) are genuinely concerned for the well being of patients.

Dr Friedman has been my primary doctor for over 25 years and has seen me thru lots of generic ailments and was very instrumental in getting me in quickly to see an oncologist when I had breast cancer. His recommendation sentme to the best breast cancer doctor/surgeon in Dallas. I'm now a 14 yr survivor and I wouldn't trust my well-being/health to anyone else. Thank you Dr. Friedman!!!

Dr. Friedman is a very thorough and caring physician who has taken care of me for more than twenty five years. He is a very good diagnostician who has never made me feel that he was rushed. In addition Dr. Friedman’sassistant, Kisha, also follows Dr. Friedman’s lead in making visits to this office a wonderful experience. Lastly, Dr. Friedman, in contrast to many physicians, has always prescribed medication only when he is absolutely certain that medication is indicated. I highly recommend Dr. Friedman without reservation.
