About Dr. Leasa Lowy

As a board-certified OB/GYN with over three decades in medicine, Leasa Lowy, MD, is an expert in women’s health, weight management, and healthy living. She provides care for patients at Southwest Family Physicians in Tigard, Oregon. Dr. Lowy began her career in nursing after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Nursing in Portland. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine at the OHSU School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah. Providing high-quality, innovative medical care is important to Dr. Lowy. She continues her education and maintains her board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lowy is also a fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Throughout her career, Dr. Lowy has served as a leader and mentor to her peers. She previously worked as the medical director of women’s services for PeaceHealth in Washington; the inaugural senior medical director of women’s programs for Providence Health and Services in Portland, Oregon; and was part of the physician advisory board for Fruit Street in Boston. Patients of Dr. Lowy commend her warmth and nurturing bedside manner. Her goal is to help patients improve their wellbeing by spending quality time educating them about their health, as well as treating and preventing obesity.
