I absolutely love, Dr. Patel and I'm lucky to have her as my doctor.
Great experience. Dr was super attentive, knowledgeable and kind.
She wasted my time. Said I need to see a psychiatrist to fill out work paperwork so I could return to work after a recent hospital stay. That's fine, but she had messaged me telling to come in to see her. I'm not paying for the visit. I've had to jump through hoops to get a psychiatrist to take care of the paperwork. I've always had my psych meds prescribed from a primary care provider. I've lost time and money from work because of her

When asking questions about my condition Dr. Patel asked if I noticed swollen lymph nodes. I understand swollen lymph nodes can be a physical indicator of sickness, however I don't know how to check them. Once I said I didn't know how to check, she just carried on with the questions. She did not show me how to check the lymph nodes or check them herself. If you ask about it in a standard list of questions you should check or show the patient how to check so they can appropriately respond the next time they are asked. It showed a lack of care and just following a checklist. There did not seem to be any initiative in trying to better understand my condition except the checklist.
She took a lot of time with me before my surgery.
