After a very frustrating week with the first physician I saw, Dr. Popovitz restored my faith in the medical profession. He's knowledgeable, he's professional and , most importantly, he's human.
Very friendly and informative doctor. I felt comfortable speaking with him. Friendly staff also. Will definitely keep Dr. Popovitz as my orthopedic doctor.
Dr Popovitz and his staff were very nice.
Wait time was frustrating and when I went back for follow-up the next week, I got there and found out that the doctor wasn't there. They said I could see the PA and never even apologized. But my experience actually being with the doctor was very good, and they were able to schedule my MRI before I even left the office.
Dr. Popovitz and his PA were extremely competent and helpful. I had a minor issue but felt in very good hands. Only complaint was that I booked an appointment first thing so I wouldn't be late for work and half an hour later was told there were still three patients in front of me. My boss was understanding, but it was stressful to be late after getting up so early to be there on time.
Dr. Popovitz was extremely kind. He is very direct but I appreciate that forwardness. I also loved the other medical staff. The PA I met with was so genuine and very knowledgeable. The staff were all comforting.
Dr was ready to listen and explain whatever query I had. Her ways of explaining the things was very nice.... She will recommend surgery as last option to you.
Diagnosis and follow up treatment remains to be seen but his bedside manner and staff were all terrific.
I appreciate his view approach that surgery is a last option. I was seen by drs for whom this was not the case.
Looking for a second opinion. Office hustled to get the radiology report which wasn't sent as I asked - I appreciated their help. Doc was direct, to the point, explained things clearly. Would definitely recommend. Think my long wait was partially due to first time patient and partially office working to get radiology report.
he was exactly what I needed!!!!
All the staff they was very professionals.
Wait was a bit long but the staff was courteous and friendly. Dr. Popovitz took the time to explain to me the cause of my knee pain and a treatment option.
Dr. Popovitz was great. Very knowledgeable.
Doctor sounded very knowledgable. Evaluation and bedside manner were very reassuring. Made recommendation and suggested non-surgical solution to my knee problem. Would highly recommend him to my friends.
When I arrived I sat down filled out my paper work handed it in and in a matter of minutes I was called the doctor was very polite and friendly answered all my questions and explained it so that I would understand ,and the women at the front desk were also friendly and polite, if your looking for a good doctor that explains every thing with a friendly staff and a short wait time then Leon E.Popovitz is the MD to see
The behind the desk staff were on point, very polite and professional and never seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people in the room. The Doctor was very quick with is exam but wasn't afraid to give me his idea of what was wrong with me knee. He genuinely seemed happy I was there. The worst part of the experience was the strange old lady who guided me to my room. I did not let that detract from my overall approval of the place however.
Even though I sent forms through ZocDoc, I had to fill out paper forms in the office. I arrived about 25 minutes early, filled out paperwork, then was seen about 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Was initially seen by a PA, who was actually pretty great. She consulted with Dr. P, then I saw him for about 2 minutes so he could confirm the PA's diagnoses. The office was pretty bustling during my entire visit. The administrators were great about checking in with my insurance and relaying my coverage to me, as well as helping me schedule follow-up PT appointments.
Everyone from the office staff to the medical staff were amazing. Superb customer service. Lynn, the PA deserves 6 stars. I highly recommend this office.
Front of the office were super helpful and both the physician's assistant and Dr. Popovitz were courteous, friendly, informative and efficient.
Excellent doctor, highly recommended!!
nice people, long waits.
Excellent, thorough, and thoughtful clinician.
Very straightforward, great bedside manner, felt very comfortable in the office and in the back rooms. Front desk staff is great, extremely personable and efficient.
Dr Popovitz has been taking good care of Me
Great. My mother is an orthopedic surgeon, so I grew up knowing a bit about what should be done in patient visits & in regards to bedside manner and Popovitz was spot on. He has great bedside manner, was very good at explaining the process of diagnosis and stated that we will try a non-invasive approach first--all signs of a great surgeon. Would highly recommend him.
He was professional and explained everything clearly. His PA, Lou, was also great. The reception desk was friendly and helpful.
Dr. Leon was very good, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. The only main issue I have that they list on Zocdoc that they are in-network with my insurance, but when you come to the office they never mention that the doctor is out-of network either. You only find it out when you get billed. The lady at the billing department just saying nonsense. Be careful.
Very positive impression.
It is a great office. Friendly enviornment, however waiting can be horrendous. Dont go there on your lunch break. But overall, I would definetly , go again, if need be.
Very nice dr had a very warm presence...happy to have found him...quick service

Dr Popovitz is great, he is a straight shooter with good bedside manner. I am very happy with him
Very professional and courteous.
Office kind of shabby
This doctor spent approximately 30 seconds speaking with me and then finished. He asked me no questions.
Appointment went well.
Examination was thorough.
