About Dr. Leslie Mattson

My goal as a physician is to provide compassionate and empathetic care for all my patients. The maze of acute and chronic illness can be scary. And with a background of more than a decade of inpatient medicine, my aim is to wade through the complexities of chronic illness to prevent hospitalization. My hope is to have patients heal efficiently in a supportive, respectful, and caring environment. I am dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and having my patients feel better as soon as possible. My clinical interests include hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular health, and preventive care. My personal interests include traveling, live music, reading, writing, and dance.

I had Dr Mattson back in February and wanted to see the again and was fortunate to get her.
I really liked the Doctor & would recommend her to Family & Friends.
It felt a little rushed compared to other providers.
Scheduled an annual visit, with the concern of panic attacks. She brushed over the fact that I expressed I was experiencing shortness of breath and wanted to make sure it was nothing more serious. I was so confused when she was ending the visit without addressing this concern. She noted in my chart that I was experiencing these things but did not give any guidance on this reoccurring issue. She was very nice but I felt like I was not heard.
