Dr. Lilit Margaryan is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, with over a decade of clinical training and experience dedicated to helping patients feel better, live longer, and finally find an approach to their health that actually works. Dr. Margaryan received her medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University — one of the leading medical universities in Eastern Europe. After moving to the United States, she completed a clinical research fellowship at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, deepening her expertise in evidence-based, patient-centered medicine.
Dr. Margaryan completed her Internal Medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio — a program recognized for its rigorous clinical training and exceptional standards. During her residency, she stood out not only for her medical skill, but for her extraordinary compassion. I booked this doctor to lance a hemorrhoid. Her Zocdoc profile indicates she treats hemorrhoids. I put in the patient note 3 days ahead of time that I needed a hemorrhoid lanced. They didn’t read the note until 5 minutes prior to my appointment. She doesn’t enjoy lancing hemorrhoids or examining inside of the anus so I wasted my time, money, gasoline and an now looked for another doctor while in pain.

Dr. Lilit made me feel much more relaxed than anticipated. I have avoided the doctor for years due to bad experiences (feeling unheard, not comfortable, doctors communicating harshly and rushing me out)- but Dr. Lilit calmed my anxieties. She was patient and listened to my many concerns. She was receptive to suggestions I made about my body. My experience was overall great and empowering.
