About Dr. Lilit Margaryan

Dr. Lilit Margaryan is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, with over a decade of clinical training and experience dedicated to helping patients feel better, live longer, and finally find an approach to their health that actually works. She founded Li Health on a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves access to a real physician — a doctor who truly listens.
Dr. Margaryan earned her medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University, one of the leading medical universities in Eastern Europe. After moving to the United States, she conducted clinical research at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, deepening her expertise in evidence-based, patient-centered medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was honored with two of the program's most prestigious distinctions — the Residency Award for Excellence and the Stephen Mueller Humanitarian Award — recognizing both clinical achievement and a rare, heartfelt dedication to patients.
She is passionate about obesity medicine because she knows how deeply personal — and how medically complex — weight struggles truly are. She combines evidence-based treatments, including GLP-1 therapies and personalized lifestyle medicine, with thoughtful, unhurried care. Fluent in English, Russian, and Armenian, with a working understanding of Ukrainian, she connects authentically with patients from many backgrounds.

I booked this doctor to lance a hemorrhoid. Her Zocdoc profile indicates she treats hemorrhoids. I put in the patient note 3 days ahead of time that I needed a hemorrhoid lanced. They didn’t read the note until 5 minutes prior to my appointment. She doesn’t enjoy lancing hemorrhoids or examining inside of the anus so I wasted my time, money, gasoline and an now looked for another doctor while in pain.
