About Dr. Linda Fain Hatton
Dr. Linda Fain Hatton was born in the Dallas area and did her undergraduate work at SMU, and the University of Oklahoma. She earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Optometry. She completed internships in pediatrics, glaucoma, and surgical co-management. Dr. Hatton is a Diplomate and is Texas Board Certified in the Treatment of Eye Disease as a Glaucoma Specialist. In addition, she is an Adjunct Professor to the University of Houston. Dr. Fain Hatton has been in private practice since 1989, specializing in Computer Vision Syndrome, Glaucoma, Pediatrics, and LASER Vison Management. She treats hard to fit contact lens conditions such as Keratoconus. Computer Vison Syndrome and Accommodative Vision Solutions are a primary part of the practice, as are the treatment of eye diseases and eye injuries. Her goal is to provide the highest level of eyecare possible. She utilizes state of the art technology and features fine eyewear and sunglasses from around the world.

This was my first time to see Dr. Hatton and I'm so thankful I found her. She is so personable and when you leave you feel like she's a friend you can trust who has your best interest at heart. They do what they are supposed to do but (I got my vision checked) but I felt more like a customer than a patent. It took 90 minutes to get in and out. I will give them credit where credit is due, it is a well oiled machine when it comes to sales but that's not what I look for in an optometrist.

First of all I made two appointments for me and for my son. The pre checkin online asked you to be there 15 min early for whatever reason and I thought it was appropriate since we were first time patients. Our appointments were at 1:00pm and 1:30pm. The office is closed from 12:00-1:00pm for lunch so we waited and as we say the ladys come in from lunch I got so excited because they looked so friendly. The last lady comes in and doesn’t lock the door so I give them a couple to get in and situated and then we go in. I was greeted by a very kind lady I can’t remember her name but it’s ok because we will get pretty acquainted after this last visit. I’m a woman with three sons all over 17 so it’s not hard to please me at an eye dr appointment but how you treat my son is everything. They were so kind and very patient with him. He wanted contacts so they had to teach him how to put them in his eyes. And he got it. It’s a very caring and knowledgeable staff. My son left calling his vision HD. I cried in the car because he has never seen downtown Dallas so clear. Thank you guys so much! I appreciate EVERYTHING!

Dr. Hatton was great during the exam but the office staff (Kelle) that I worked with to try to get glasses was impatient and rude. When the information Kelle gave me was different than what Dr. Hatton had said, she refused to ask the doctor for clarification. I ended up leaving without knowing which prescription to fill so the visit was not at all successful. I will have to consult another professional to get my answer since I am unable to get access to Dr. Hatton.

Dr Fain is extremely thorough while being charasmatic, completely transparent with what is going on with your vision, Understood my wanting to buy more than one pair with a less expensive pirce. So had not trouble giving me my RX, but warned me the quality might be less than i am used!

I really enjoyed my appointment. I was seen quickly and the technology utilized for both the preventative care and exam room were state of the art. On top of that Dr. Hatton is amazing! She made an effort to know me as a person not just a patient, and took her time to make sure I was in the right prescription which is something other eye doctors skimp on.
