Dr. Lindsey Hopkins, PhD

Psychologist
CA
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 17 years of experience researching and providing evidence-based treatments. I earned my PhD and Master's in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University and my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas, Dallas. There are a number of highly effective therapies available, and I focus primarily on those that help people overcome traumatic stress (PTSD), anxiety disorders, and disordered eating. I also work with many young adults undergoing life transitions, exploring career identities and trajectories, navigating romantic partnerships, and more. An increasing focus of my practice is existential in nature, assisting clients with spiritual growth and exploration. My approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral (CBT), but I also draw from interpersonal, mindfulness/acceptance-based, existential, and transpersonal approaches. My style is warm, flexible, intellectual, and down to earth.
