About Dr. Ling Xu

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: Our providers must conduct an in-person medical evaluation before prescribing a controlled substance for our patients, with no exceptions. If you have any questions, please contact the practice directly. Dr. Ling Xu is a board-certified Internist seeing patients at Bay Valley Medical Group in Castro Valley and Pleasanton, California. She is multilingual, speaking English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. After completing fourteen years of medical education and specialty training-including medical school at Gannan Medical University and residency at Texas Tech University-Dr. Xu applies her extensive knowledge in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease to her daily outpatient practice. She provides comprehensive medical evaluations and evidence-based, up-to-date management for a full scope of adult illnesses at all levels of complexity.
