“I would definitely return. Full, helpful description of what turned out to be vitreous degeneration. ( I feared I had a detached retina which turned out to not be the case. Showing me imaging, and a model of the eye this physician acknowledged my floaters but clearly showed me how she determined the diagnosis. She also does a good job of personalizing how common this condition is! Strongly recommend!”

About Dr. Linh Hoang-Braley
Dr. Linh Hoang-Braley (B.S., O.D.) earned her combined undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degree from George Mason University and Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) in 1994. She has been in private practice in the Northern Virginia area for the past 20 years, including 10 years as the owner of Eye Site Optometrists in Arlington, VA. An active member of the Arlington Host Lions Club, she has provided eye care to many students in local schools and adults with low income. Dr. Hoang-Braley also participated in a mission trip to Haiti, where she performed over 100 eye exams and donated numerous pairs of glasses. She offers comprehensive eye exams and addresses all aspects of eye care, including dry eyes and allergy management, cataract, laser vision correction, and glaucoma co-management, as well as specialty contact lenses, including hard-to-fit rigid gas permeable lenses for keratoconus. She lives in Vienna with her husband, Jim, and two daughters, Jasmine and Angelina. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, yoga, hiking, and golf.

Amazing eye doctor with a clean office. She was knowledgeable and answered every question and spent time ensuring my prescription was accurate. I would not order glasses here if you have a high prescription. They are expensive and promise (thin lenses) that they cannot actually do. I did order contacts and will be back to order more. Front desk staff took a personal phone call during the middle of my check in and doctor had to come out and finish my check in herself.

The appointment was misleading and in the pre-appointment phone call, the assistant was deceptive with her responses and information. The appointment was for 10 am for Tuesday May 20. In the phone call, the assistant informed me to arrive 15-30 minutes early to complete some of the paperwork, which is typical for appointments. The problem with this is that the stores opens at 10am and not prior, so I arrived to a locked door and it did not actually matter about arriving early. Second, I specifically was upfront and asked about the insurance situation to the assistant during the phone call. I told them that I don't have vision insurance specifically - only the medical insurance. I told them I just wanted the medical test related to diabetes retinopathy that my primary care physician wanted me to get. They made it sound that they did this and that it would be covered by my medical insurance. This changed when I arrived and they began adding things to the charges not covered.

I’ve never stuck with one eye doctor bc I’ve always felt like an annoying bother. I’ve had lasik twice and have terrible night vision so it’s hard for me to figure out what prescription works best. This provider was AMAZING. She’s very knowledgeable, really kind, and very patient. Turns out I’ve been wearing the wrong prescription for like 10 years.

Office is small and feels like you are in a storage closet at times but staff was very friendly and professional there network was down but I still felt like I got top service and care. Not the biggest selection of frames but very knowledgeable and have a bigger store in Shirlington.

The Dr was amazing! She made me feel comfortable, she was a great explainer and great listener. Honestly I was amazed and definitely will go back and recommend everyone I know to go see Dr. Hoang- Braley. She is worth seeing, with or without insurance.
