I was greeted upon my arrival and checked in right away. There were a few things she needed to rescan as they got cut off on the download I had done. I immediately went with the technician who explained all the different machines he did tests with. It was set up nice that you sat in a rolling chair and moved yourself sown the line to each of 5-6 different machines without having to get up. The doctor then examined my eyes and showed me things on the screen of my eye as she explained clearly what was there. She was happy to send the results to my eye doctor back home.

This is an excellent eye care office. Lisa Parkins, OD, was very thorough in her examination and answered all my questions directly.
Dr. Parkins and her staff ran a number of diagnostic exams and she did a great job of explaining the results to me.

Exceptional experience. The doctor took many tests before diagnose my condition, then shared results, i.e., pictures of my condition. Sadly, it’s age related so it’s a wait and see approach for treatment. But the doctor was very informative and reassuring.

Glad to have found Dr Parkins and Refocus. The facilities seem state of the art and everyone I worked with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They already had all my information when I arrived, I was seen immediately, answered all my questions and clearly explained everything from the results of the examination to my insurance coverage. Just moved into the Chandler area and feel very confident I now have an eye care provider I can count on.

Dr Parkins was very professional and thorough. Her office has much newer equipment than my previous OD, with the poke-you-in-the-eye glaucoma test replaced with a more modern light based test and without the inconvenience of pupil dilation. Prices are competitive and the attention o received was pleasant. The doctor had a couple of practical lifestyle changes to help me get more out of my 60 year old eyes and delay cataracts.

The front desk assistant was excellent and patient when I had an issue finding the right insurance information since it changed with the new year. I haven’t been to an eye doctor in years and the office staff was very nice throughout the entire visit. Everything was clean and they worked efficiently. They made sure I got a full eye exam as well as addressing my concerns. They made sure that they used the insurance that covered most of my visit and helped me pick out my glasses since it was my first time doing so. Definitely recommend!
