Dr. Lizeth Gonzalez received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where she was part of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide eye care to underserved communities. Though she is from Southern California originally, Dr. Liz not only has experience working there, but also in various practice modalities throughout the greater Boston area and Miami, where she gained extensive training in low vision and the treatment of ocular diseases. Dr. Liz also has special interest in the treatment and management of dry eye disease and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Liz is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and hiking with her shepsky Tommy.
