“This was an exceptional experience. I’m usually quite nervous about doctor’s offices, but Dr. Sasser’s approach made all the difference. She noticed my nervousness and immediately engaged me in small conversations and provided guidance throughout the appointment. Visiting for my second pap smear was nerve-wracking since my first appointment with another gynecologist wasn’t the best. Sandra, the intake and vitals nurse, confirmed all my previous symptoms, explained what to do if I received a report from another practice, and outlined what to expect. Dr. Sasser listened attentively, offered my options, and provided solutions. Her kindness, consideration, and empathy made the experience truly wonderful considering the panic running through me. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you Sandra and Dr. Sasser for making a difference in what you do!”

Dr. Lona Sasser believes in providing exceptional care, one patient at a time. She provides quality care to the Coral Springs, Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Coconut Creek and Fort Lauderdale areas, bringing extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology to her practice and her patients.
Dr. Sasser earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her residency in Family Practice at NSU-COM/Palmetto General Hospital, 1998-1999. Dr Sasser's Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology was at the University of Florida, 1999-2003.
She is affiliated with Broward Health Coral Springs and Northwest Medical Center.
