About Dr. Lynn Owens
Dr. Lynn Owens graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (formerly Los Angeles College of Chiropractic) in 1990 and is a member of the Delta Sigma Honorary Scholastic Society. She is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association, a Diplomate of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and an Associate Faculty Member of the Southern California University of Health Sciences, Clinical Internship Division. She has been in full-time private practice since 1990, practicing in San Diego, and has been a certified Qualified Medical Examiner since 2005.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1976 from Augustana College in Illinois and worked for many years as a microbiologist. As a biologist, she recognized that the integrity of the nervous system is fundamental for optimum health. She studied the mechanism of the vertebrae as the protective housing of the spinal cord and nerves, and how abnormal positioning of the vertebrae can compromise nerve flow, thereby affecting the body's functioning and often causing pain.
In her practice, Dr. Owens integrates different chiropractic techniques and specializes in non-force manipulative methods of correcting vertebral joint positioning.

I got to the office, they told me to sign in and be seated, then about 15 minutes later they called me up and told me they didn't have my appointment because they were no longer booking online (even though their website had the link to the online booking site) and that they weren't accepting new patients with my insurance even though I got their name from the insurance company and it was showing accepting new patients with my plan. Complete waste of time both in filling out everything ahead of time online and in taking time off work to go to the non-existent appointment.
