She did not inform me the prescriptions she was giving me. The prescriptions given did not help my condition. In order for improvement, she needs to educate the patients on the prescriptions that she plans to prescribe and assume the patient knows nothing. Tried to contact the office and had trouble each time. She had good bedside manner at first, but I felt my concern was dismissed towards the end of the appointment. Due to the positive reviews/ratings I had high hopes for how this appointment would go. I often don’t write reviews like this, but I feel it’s important to be honest and communicate this towards potential new patients. Maybe this was an off-day. It was also hard to contact and set up follow up appointment.

The wait time was the only downside. Once we were taken back, everything was great. The staff was great and we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat for the first time!

I was stuck in a closet sized room for almost an hour with no air. I had to ask the nurse eventually if I could move to another room. Then the Dr spent less than 10 minutes with me and threw HRT at me after I told her a wanted a full hormonal panel. So I’m supposed to take HRT and then in a month get a hormonal panel lol. Medicine at its finest right here. Don’t see this Dr if you want to be heard and taken seriously.

Dr. Malek was great! This was my first OBGYN appointment ever as a young woman, and she made me feel really comfortable. She had amazing bed side manner, and was very intentional about getting to know me as patient. It is an answered prayer that I was able to have her as my doctor. She was a great listener, and listened to all my concerns. She also communicated well with me about my next steps. I am looking forward to having her as my doctor in the coming years!
