“Overall experience was great. My entire experience was virtual so the 5 stars to office questions were just to bypass the screen. I don't know anything about their office space. I had to do my intake form online on their webpage. Answered honestly and took about 10 mins. I had to follow up with a call so they could take my credit card info down for my co-pay and any last minute cancellation fees. When I called, I was bounced around a few times but luckily was WFH so I just put it on speaker. As for the doctor, my experience was a virtual one. My doctor was able to meet me right on top and was able to provide an amazing service. Dr. Malathi Pilla was very professional and knowledgeable. She was able to provide me referrals and their locations that are part of my network. I'm looking forward to our next session.”

Getting to know Dr. Malathi Pilla

I am board certified in Psychiatry and recognized by the American Psychiatric Association (APA). I completed my basic education at Ideal College and earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Siddhartha Medical College in India. I completed my psychiatric residency at Southern Illinois University, Springfield, Illinois, in 2016. I also have brief psychiatric experience in Jamaica, West Indies, where I lived for a couple of years before moving to the United States. Later, I practiced as an adult outpatient psychiatrist in Las Cruces, New Mexico, until May 2022. While in New Mexico, I volunteered to teach psychiatric residents from the University of New Mexico and supervised Nurse Practitioners. I relocated to New Jersey to be closer to my family. My training and clinical experience have helped me gain confidence in treating most psychiatric conditions in adults. Besides work, I enjoy nature, gardening, and spending time with my family.

Would not recommend. I provided my information in advance and provided details about the reason for my appointment. The doctor was brief and did not spend any time to understand my reason for seeking help.
