After completing medical school at Rush University, Dr. Margaret Nettleton went on to the University of Illinois for her OBGYN residency. She is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her private practice, she strives to make her care personal to each patient, one patient at a time. Her primary focus is on educating patients so that they are able to share in their own health decisions. In addition to private practice, Dr. Nettleton provides care for the underserved community. I felt like I had to ask more of the questions then the doctor explaining this stage in my life of 50yrs old and not really explaining menopause to me. Which isn’t it the drs job to make the patient feel that they are being heard and to help us understand what our bodies are going through. I was also trying to explain that I had my right ovary n tube taken out and she didn’t even ask me why. Like I said. I felt like a number on a conveyor belt. So sad how doctors n offices have changed in some places.

She wasn’t really listening to what I was saying. Tried to give me a diagnosis and to put me on medication within the first minute of the appointment, not even asking me any questions. Then was condescending when I got confused and told her I didn’t want to go on medication. Does not make a comfortable environment.
