What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach can be best described as integrative, patient-centered and evidence-based. I use various approaches in therapy and I always adapts treatment to best meet the needs of each client. Working with me, clients should expect a therapist who strives to create a supportive and non-judgemental environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I take an active and collaborative role in treatment, and will pace/adapt the treatment with input and feedback from you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The keys to a good therapist / client relationship are open communication, collaboration, active participation, mutual respect and trust. I utilize therapeutic modalities such as: Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Psychodynamic Therapies, Interpersonal and Attachment-based interventions
