About Dr. Maria Munoz
With specialty knowledge in surgical techniques as well as essential women’s health care, Dr. Munoz is a physician with a patient-centric philosophy. She believes that women should feel comfortable in seeking out the best-quality care available, not only for wellness and preventive care, but also for treatment of issues of any kind.
Dr. Munoz is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, holds a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and is fully trained in the Da Vinci Robot surgery system. She is a graduate of the St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed her Residency at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center, where she also served as Administrative Chief Resident. Before joining Delray OB/GYN Associates, Dr. Munoz previously worked in OB/GYN roles at Norwalk Hospital and Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Munoz is fluent in both English and Spanish and has a basic understanding of French.
