About Dr. Mariana Marcu
Dr. Mariana Marcu is a board-certified allergist and immunologist with over 15 years of experience treating allergy and asthma patients in New York City. She cares for adults and children with seasonal and year-round allergies, asthma, eczema, chronic hives, food allergies, drug allergies, and insect sting reactions.
Dr. Marcu offers comprehensive in-office allergy testing and a full range of treatments, including allergy shots (subcutaneous immunotherapy), sublingual immunotherapy, biologic therapy, and supervised food and drug oral challenges. Patients appreciate her clear communication, careful diagnostic process, and treatment plans tailored to each person's symptoms and lifestyle.
She is double board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Marcu completed her residency and served as chief medical resident at New York-Presbyterian Queens, and her Allergy, Asthma & Immunology fellowship at Northwell Health (formerly North Shore-LIJ) at Schneider Children's Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), and a member of the New York Allergy & Asthma Society and the World Allergy Organization.
