About Dr. Marianella Paz-Lansberg
Dr. Paz-Lansberg received her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She completed her residency at the University of Chicago and fellowship training in rhinology and skull base surgery at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has advanced training and expertise in managing inflammatory sinus disease, benign and malignant tumors of the paranasal sinus, endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy and endoscopic orbital and skull base reconstruction. Her current research focus includes surgical rhinitis, healthcare disparities in rhinology surgical outcomes, as well as inclusion and diversity within otolaryngology and medical education.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Paz. The first visit I felt she was very empathetic and had some ideas/things for me to try. When I returned for the second visit, she had a different bedside manner - seemed almost irritated to see me again (as my issue had not improved). I left feeling unsure what I should do next and like she was frustrated she couldn’t help me but had no real suggestions. Have decided to try a different provider who can work with me to find a solution vs just kinda throwing her hands up in the air. Office staff is nice and appts run on time. So that was a plus :)
